Getting started in salsa is not only the first step, but the turning point to new experiences. Salsa is not just a dance;
it is a way of life. Don't worry about the dance anxiety of having to be a pro,
I'll provide all the steps to making the process easy and fun. I remember everyone's first class, so
it is my pleasure to invite you into the community.

Classes and Registration
The sessions are built starting
with a foundation of the salsa basics and lead into dance
patterns in true salsa 1 on 1 style. This is street salsa
in a cross body style with tons of shines, styling and
pattern work.

KamaSalsa Level One Salsa Sessions

The Level One session covers the basic footwork, turns,
momentum and partner turns to get you out on the floor
and ready for dance patterns.

ONE CLASSES
6 week sessions
Introduction to the basics of salsa.
Learn basic footwork, turns,
cross body leads and shines. Techniques include: timing,
weight transition, framework, momentum and partner connection.
Students also learn about getting out there to cool cultural
events and Latin happenings. Expect to learn a lot and
have fun.
*No partner necessary.
*Wear leather-soled shoes to avoid difficulty with turns
and dance patterns.

This is the next level transitioning
Level One steps into basic salsa partner patterns. Learn
turns, cross body leads and other moves that will have
you dancing on the floor. Techniques include: lead and
follow, momentum, timing, linking moves and communicating
with your partner.

LEVEL THREE CLASSES
More Advanced Salsa Partnering and Patterns
Students must complete 6 weeks
of Level Two classes before moving to Level Three.
Perfecting partner patterns and shines, the progression
will start with a dance pattern and link patterns and
shines each week to create a complete dance. Techniques
include advanced shines, multiple turns, dips, lead and
follow.
All combinations are broken down
into sequences that are easy to understand, remember and
fun!

SALSA 4 KIDS/SALSA 4 TEENS
Salsa isn't just for adults, it's for kids too! Salsa
teaches kids about rhythm, musicality, diversity in a
fun environment.
Class format: Diana will provide all music and get students
moving to the pattern work of salsa, merengue and cha
cha. This is a high energy class that is filled with cool
tips and information to make it a life learning experience.
